And after talking to a bunch of people at Poilievre's office we decided to go see if John Baird's staff enjoyed pie and fiscal facts. They didn't, and after being locked out of that office we took the party out front. We got lot's of support from the local business people and folks passing through. Lot's of people said they would be contacting their MP that night.

So we left a piece of pumpkin pie and slid some handouts under the door, and went outside to give out info on the huge amounts of money BIll S-10 will cost. They called the cops, who refused to enforce our right to enter the public property of the MPs office.

For the National Day Against Bill S-10 on June 4 2010 some of us in Ottawa decided to Occu-Pie the office of Pierre Poilievre. We had pie (cherry and pumpkin for the record) and information on how mandatory minimum sentences won't 'protect' young people from the risks of drugs.
