When I was growing up, drugs were always a mix of very bad with a pinch of plain morbid curiosity. We knew there were good drugs like the stuff that our parents gave us when we were sick, had a tummy ache, etc. and that there were other drugs out there that made us sick in the first place – at least that’s what we’re told by the grown ups. As we grow up the lines are no longer divided up the same way and there isn’t a black and white; there’s grey too. We realize that certain situations can bring to light a lot of perspective and insight with the proper arguments. The general idea is that when we’re sick, we take medication to make us feel better and continue on with our lives. What about the people who will always feel sick? Well, those people will have to take those drugs for the rest of their lives in order to function in society and to keep on living rich and fulfilling lives.
